Rotten Day Saved by Wonderful Husband!

Well, Ive scraped away dinner and was wondering what to do next, when my wonderful husband volunteered to save the day so he got in the car and disappeared for about 20 minutes, came back with several bags from Kowalskis and told me to stay in the living room, which I did.

After a minute or two, he came out with dinner! Notice I have all but swallowed the stick along with the corn dog...

And something to wash it down with:

My husband isnt a drinker and neither am I for that matter, but he managed to crank out a margarita for me. He also bought a bottle of Riesling and Im tasting this as well.

I am beginning to feel much better.

Oh well, Ill make a cutting board out of the mis-glued turning blank. Theres always another day in the wood shop and more wood to turn.

Dollhouse for Peaches Day 4

I took some time on this day to put in the final wall next to the stairs, do some work on the underside of the stairway, do some much needed sanding, and to start on the top...

Here I am starting on the top. I am making it as one peice, then cutting it when I am ready, so that it will fold open to reveal the storage area. I am putting a 3/4" solid maple edge banding all the way around. Im fastening it with both glue and brads, because this will be a moving part and will be a point of alot of handling. Itll take at least a day to dry before I can work on it again...
