A gift for Star

I decided to make a small bench for my wife, Star, for Christmas. This is similar to the one my dad made, and Star wanted one for our entryway.

I bought a 11 piece of solid maple. It came with two straight edges. Therefore, I need to run this through a series of cuts to straighten it and get the usable material out of it. This is almost fresh off the tree!

I cut out what I needed, and didnt have much left. I am rounding off some of the corners, and sanding everything before assembly.
